Ms. Montes-Sosa has a bachelor’s degree in education. Her family and teachers growing up inspired Ms. Montes-Sosa to become a teacher. Learning English as a second language made an impact on her life that made the world of difference for her in the best way! Ms. Montes-Sosa has taught English for many years, but she wanted to provide a creative space for students and now teaches Art for our students. Outside of the classroom you can find Ms. Montes-Sosa making ceramics, hiking, and reading!

About Mark Ruiz Rivera
Mr. Ruiz Rivera has a bachelor’s degree in education. Mr. Ruiz Rivera had planted a seed in his mind from a quote he read many years ago, “Be the person that you needed when you were younger.” This grew him into wanting to be the light in the lives of the leaders of tomorrow to encourage them to chase their dreams. Living through adversity, he managed to graduate valedictorian in 8th Grade, number 7 in his high school class, served honorably in the military and has now almost accomplished his master’s degree. He hopes to leave a lasting impression on all his students that will inspire them to try their best in all they can do. Outside of the classroom, Mr. Ruiz Rivera enjoys lifting weights, watching sports, and traveling!
