Ms. Montes-Sosa has taught English for many years, but she wanted to provide a creative space for students and now teaches Art for our students. Mr. Ruiz Rivera has a bachelor’s degree in education. Mr. Ruiz Rivera had planted a seed in his mind from a quote he read many years ago, “Be the person that you needed when you were younger.” This grew him into wanting to be the light in the lives of the leaders of tomorrow to encourage them to chase their dreams. Living through adversity, he managed to graduate valedictorian in 8th Grade, number 7 in his high school class, served honorably in the military and has now almost accomplished his master’s degree. He hopes to leave a lasting impression on all his students that will inspire them to try their best in all they can do.
