Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the 2024–2025 school year! As the new principal of Kings Ridge Preparatory Academy, it is an honor and pleasure to meet our wonderful community. I am starting my seventeenth year as a head principal. I appreciate the Riverside Elementary School District for the opportunity, the next chapter in life to continue my passion to empower and motivate students to become lifelong learners.  

The Riverside leadership team, including our new Kings Ridge Dean of Students Mr. Gonzalez, is thrilled to welcome our students and staff back to school. In his new position, Mr. Gonzalez will fit in great along with the secretaries and staff. Our dedicated staff of educators and paraprofessionals have been working diligently at the school throughout the summer to prepare classrooms for the upcoming school year. We are grateful to our amazing custodial staff as they worked all summer getting our school in pristine shape. Our secretarial staff, Ceci and Letecia, are working hard to ensure a smooth kickoff for staff, families, and especially our amazing students!

Parents, please let your students know that we hope they are relaxing and creating special memories with their friends and family. Now it is time to look forward to a wonderful new school year, and appreciate as a student, the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th-grade student. As per our mission statement: Kings Ridge will be a superior, student-centered school with strong ties to our families and diverse community. Kings Ridge teachers and staff will dedicate themselves to the creation of a school culture that promotes the academic, emotional, and social development of every student.
